Dr Padmini Manghat is a Consultant Chemical Pathologist. She is a specialist in the investigation and prevention of Renal stones as well as the treatment of Lipid disorders. She runs specialist Lipid clinics and has initiated and continues to lead the Metabolic stone service and Lipid Service at Darent Valley Hospital.

She obtained her medical degree from Madras University, India. She was awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists after completing her specialty training in Chemical Pathology in London. She has a strong background in research having completed an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from University of London and MD (Research) from Kings College London.
